Hair Care Update

Hey Everyone,

In October 2013 i posted my tips and tricks for thin hair. I have been growing my hair from last 2 years. So i thought now is time to post the result and my hair care routine.

Last time i went to salon for a haircut and the Hair Stylist chopped my hair very very short. It almost looked like i have long wavy bob.

No offense, but i don't like short hair on me, so i hated and really wanted to sue that stylist but then i realised she is deaf and dumb, she could not hear whatever i was saying. I felt very bad afterwards for yelling at her and i did apologise to her and thought oh!! it just hair and will grow soon. but it took almost 2 and half years to get the length i have now. My hair is till my butt now and i forgot to take a picture of my hair before going to salon this. However, my hair is this length after 4 inches of trim. Girl at salon was like Oh my god!!!! You have super long hair and from long have been growing them. I told her the whole story and she was ðŸ˜³

This photo i took when i came back from hair salon. My hair used to be very thin but now they look pretty healthy and i will take the full credit  for that.

I have  thin and wavy hair but i do have a lot of hair now so they do look pretty good. But the scene was totally different before 2 years ago. My hair was very very thin and sometime i felt Oh my god!!!! i'm going to get bald soon. This was my hair. This photo was taken on 23rd March 2013.

You can see the difference and i have been using the same tips and have started doing few more things to prevent breakage and grow healthy hair.

- I use hair mask every other week and my favourite hair masks are Roots from Lush and Macadamia oil Hair mask. Also, i love using coconut oil mask on my scalp and hair. Hair masks treats and revitalise the tired scalp and will nourish your hair. Style products and shampoos create build up on your scalp and you need to get rid of that to promote the hair growth.
- Use a good leave in conditioner. No matter how much you condition your hair its never enough. Also remember that leave in conditioners are for the ends or tips of your hair. Do not use them on your scalp. Argan oil is a very good leave in conditioner.
- Do not wash your hair every day. Your scalp produces natural oil and the tips/ends of your hair need that natural oil.
- Cut down on heat. There are millions of tutorials on Youtube for heatless hair styles, they can be very helpful if you are in process of growing your hair.
- Eat Healthy. Always remember whatever goes in your stomach your body, skin and hair reflect that. So eat healthy. Proteins are essential for your hair.
- Take multi - vitamins or supplements, Biotin and Omega 3 is very good for your body, nails and hair. Remember to consult with your doctor before that.
- Drink a lot of water.
- Massage your scalp in the shower. Don't just leather the shampoo and rinse it off.

These are the tips and suggestions if you are growing your hair. These definitely worked for me hope works for you too.

Love

Heer
xoxo
